A tenancy agreement is a legally binding contract that can only be ended in certain ways. Notice to end a tenancy must be in writing.
A tenant gives the Notice of intention to leave to the property manager/owner when they want to vacate the property by a certain date.
Breaking your Lease
In the circumstances that you may require to break your lease, the tenant/s will be responsible for the upkeep of the property & the rent up until the day prior to a new tenant taking possession of the property or the lease expires, whichever comes sooner. To allow for a transition period, a minimum of 3 working days will be required for an exit and entry to be completed by Ray White Cairns Beaches once all keys have been handed back into the office.
